I think Monsieur Cartwright just got lost in his maize of righteousness yesterday. I think the only thing that achieved was him looking like a nacho man.
My friend Barbara (or 'Babs', as she likes to be known) loves a good pastry. She and her husband Mack are always inviting us over when she's made some delicious filo or something similar.
Oftentimes we'll get a phone call from them, and I'll yet out to Wifey, "It's time to go to Mack 'e Bab's!"

I'm going to call the Colonel on you for this one, Nads!
I would leave a comment, but after the screaming match yesterday my voice is a bit husky.

I 'ear what you are saying. Really though, just cob-bling this together.
Let's not butter each other up.
I'm just here to mill around - the people, the puns, the grainy pictures... ah yes, good times.
That said, I have taco to lunch now, but I will be back shortly.

Here I was ready for something scintilla-ting, but all I can give you for that last effort is chicken feed - sorry mate.
Although I guess it does adhere to the complaint that the puns here are half-baked :-)
That kinda talk really gets my blood boiling.
I can dish it out, but I can't take it. I'm gonna serve you up an extra helping of whoop-ass!
Peas - don't hurt me. I don't wanna be a vegetable. Lettuce talk about this.
I'm quite a spud when you get to know me. This is quite a pickle, etc.
Goodness, it's easier to pull off the peals of thin-skinned vegies than I thought. No blood-boiling intended.
Hate to keep chipping in like this, but I’ve always bean a bit of a cereal pest.
